Atelier E.B.: Passer-by- Atelier E.B is a fashion label run by designer Beca Lipscombe and artist Lucy McKenzie -> focus on fashion and its display - Atelier E,B has transformed the Gallery into three chapters: -> Historical research tracing multiple narratives within art, design and retail -> A series of commissions by contemporary artists -> A bespoke showroom for their new collection, Jasperwear - Title, Passer-by, acknowledges consumers of fashion not just as individuals who buy garments, but everyone who glances at shop window displays and enjoys fashion through books, magazines, exhibitions, and other means - Fashion display - modes of artistic expressions and reflectors of cultural change - Takes the figure of the mannequin as its central theme - Passer-by was a hybrid dreamscape - part World Fair pavilion, part retail emporium - and explored the future of retail display in the digital age Selection of archival US and French Vogue issues, 1928-30- Hand-drawn cover - Mannequin as models -> focus on the clothes instead of the models faces or who they are Jasperwear Collection- No single unifying theme
